Monterey Regional Airport Offers Holiday Military Lounge for Active-Duty Service Members
Serving Up Treats to Our Troops this Holiday Season
MONTEREY, CA, October 30, 2023 – Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) is pleased to announce a Holiday Military Lounge, which will be available to all active-duty military and their travel companions from December 18th through December 25th, 2023. Located in the Administration Office on the second floor of the airport terminal building, local troops traveling during holiday leave can enjoy a complimentary breakfast or lunch, snacks, beverages, comfortable seating, and secure wi-fi.
The Active-Duty Holiday Military Lounge is courtesy of Monterey Regional Airport and has been generously supported by the following community partners: Monterey Jet Center, Del Monte Aviation, SunRidge Farms, Taylor Farms, and Woody’s at the Airport. Complimentary meals will be made possible by public donations garnered via a “Treat our Troops” campaign. Patrons of Woody’s at the Airport may treat a service member with a $10.00 meal donation.
