American Airlines Announces Seasonal Service to Dallas

MONTEREY, CA. (October 2, 2018) – Although details are limited, the Monterey Regional Airport is pleased to learn that today American Airlines announced, beginning April 2, 2019, new daily non-stop service between Monterey Regional Airport and Dallas – Ft. Worth International Airport. The announcement was made as part of a 2019 Schedule Enhancement Press Release at the American Airlines News Room at AA.com. The announcement indicates the service will be seasonal operating from April 2, 2019 through November 3, 2019.

“We are extremely excited to learn of the American Airlines announcement today and cannot wait to learn more details about this important new connection for our region,” said Michael La Pier, Executive Director, Monterey Regional Airport. “The addition of this new service continues our effort to improve capacity at Monterey Regional to support our region’s hospitality, agriculture and military industries. We are very pleased our partners at American Airlines have made this announcement today and we are looking forward to working with them as more details become available and the new service is available for sale.”

The flight schedule announced today includes once a once daily round trip and will be operated using a 76-seat Embraer 175 aircraft offering First Class, Main Cabin Extra and Main Cabin seating.
